Matthew Gordon is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma’s Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre, where he performed in dream roles like J.D. in Heathers (directed by Josh Prince) and Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar. During his time in school, he studied with the nation’s best musical theatre students and professors, explored his passion for songwriting and completed his first album.

Matthew wants to create impactful art through musical theater and is passionate about creating positive change in the world. Matthew finds deep fulfillment in exploring this exciting art form. Through music and meaningful storytelling, Matthew has felt more understood and less alone. He dreams to give that back, so maybe people can understand themselves a little better too.

Matthew Gordon loves New York City, and loves being on a mission in the greatest city in the world. Matthew is committed to the lifelong journey of growth as both an artist and a human being. New York is the perfect place for that pursuit.
